1.
Do I need an Appointment?
Yes, sessions are scheduled
by appointment only
2. When is the best time to schedule
my Ultrasound?
Between 24 and 32 weeks
is the ideal time to see your baby, fuller figured
moms should schedule their appointment around
30-31 weeks. For moms who are blessed with multiple
babies they should not schedule their appointment
after 25 weeks. We also offer a double session
if you are interested in seeing your baby grow
throughout the trimester. We can set up the
appointments for you in advance.
3. Can I bring family and friends with
me ?
Absolutely, at this extremely
joyous time we want your family and friends
to share in the excitement of seeing your new
baby. We can accommodate 5 adults comfortably.
4. Will I always get a beautiful picture
of my baby ?
Usually, but not always.
If the baby is persistently looking away from
us or if hands and feet are in the way, it may
be difficult to see the baby's face. Trying
later in the session will usually be successful
because the baby will have time to turn to a
more favorable position.
5. What if my baby does not change position?
After a few unsuccessful
attempts, you will need to re-schedule. There
will of course be no charge for that visit.
6. Will my insurance company cover this
ultrasound?
No - This is an elective
service and is not covered by your medical insurance
7. Do I need a prescription from my
doctor?
No, But you need
to be under pre-natal care and have already
undergone a second trimester ultrasound ordered
by your physician to confirm your due date,
to screen for fetal anomalies, and other pregnancy
related issues.
Please note: at no time is this exam
to be used in place of a complete diagnostic
ultrasound.
